Your responding to the wrong post. I posted both Michael Kelly's column and the quote from Orwell himself, not Nadine.

BTW Orwellian is a term often used to describe Stalinist societies - to which Orwell took offense and described in his book 1984. The only 2 in existence today are Iraq and North Korea.
