My own opposition to a war is based on several years work in Muslim countries as a member of our Foreign Service. Retired Foreign Service career people, with whom I have been in contact for several years, are appalled by the war strategy and of course, the long term consequences, which could give a boost to terrorism worldwide. What do they know? They've only given 30 or 40 years or so of their life to solving problems through DIPLOMACY. It's much cheaper than war! Art
