Yes, right about phone trades. At the same price it would perhaps have been worth even considering it but not with added fees. This is a clear signal that they don't want a part of their customers, so they impose prohibitive fees. Still, for me, phone trades are even less desirable as to the extra costs. Also guess you are sitting into your crowded office side on side with your colleages, and you snarl into the horn: "er, yes, I want to xxx yyy shares at zzz, etc." Pfft. Phoning in trades, and have stock certs hand delivered. Like in the stone age.
