So Bush is wrong and Saddam was wrong, but Hitler was justified. I don't really want to argue with you about this. I just want to point out how interesting your opinions are.

Especially since the US ambassador at the time informed Saddam that the US had no interest in Arab-Arab provincial disputes. So after the US backed him on Iraq (the US vetoing the UN resolution that condemned Iraq's attack of Iran), he probably thought he could pull off Kuwait. I also submit he probably suffered from some visions of the once-great Saladin who united the Arab lands a long-long time ago.
