Oh Elizabeth so many answers and no questions<g>. I don't know and I don't know and I don't know, but I did visit Alcatraz, and saw Al's cell I didn't see anything written on the walls, concrete in the toilet though guess they're still trying to prevent his escape. So off to Cuba I went, saw Al's house, now it's a restaurant called El Casa de Al. I think some of the Irish you're talkin' about ended up on an Island in the St Lawrence River Quebec where most died from small pox. There are a lot of Irish on the Avalon peninsula in Newfoundland, you acn certainly tell from their dribble when they speak as for me and my house we came from England. I don't know how many , if any came to Nfld during the potato thing. Oh and if you need electricity for cooking the unwanteds ,you know what I mean, we have it, but we need your government to convince the Canadian Government to allow Nfld & Labrador to be a full participant in confederation and allow the free transport of power from Nfld to other provinces or as in your case states. Could be a lot of losses in sending power that far though, but what the heck , it's only water and we have so much of it and it just keeps running down hill and producing more power, but the stupid politicians can't seem to capitalize on this. Sorry for rambling Elizabeth , but I think it's this wine could be California. The Nickel ya I forgot about that , We just wanta send it to you shiny and new , not what the Canadian government wants or Ontario, just as rocks to be processed in Sudbury. As for Freidland , don't think he'll end up with his head in a burlap sack after what he pulled off with INCO, he's just too smart. Is there a shortage of NIckel, I've been concentrating on Gold and hadn't noticed, Thought by now INCO would have New Caledonia going and wouldn't need VB. Isn't that what they were saying while trying to bamboozle NL into giving it away? Roger Grimes decided to give it away anyway( stupid politicians)Gray Davis would've just clamped on price controls.
