Powell is a foot soldier to Da Idiot...he'll do anything to meet the goal...very sad to see IMO.

imo powell committed an outright deception with his characterization of that tape. not only that, but to claim a tape where osama is calling for saddam's head as proof iraq is complicit with osama shows an unbelievable level of disrespect for the american people. he's assuming people are too stupid and too ignorant to figure it out. It surprised me too that Powell said it. It is clearly deception. He knew so much air time would be given to his views even though the tape indicates no connection. The "spin machine" can twist anything they want. They expect the public to just take their word for it without any evidence. Then there is the right wing media..and to be objective would be considered un-American. Media turning into a proganda machine..sad to say..one has to read on line international news sites to get the real news. International news organizations are not afraid to call it like they see it. In contrast, the British media seems very objective even though their government is in favor of attacking Iraq. American news organizations are too afraid of a right wing backlash....you see it in CNN's news converage.
