Actually, Sean Penn's my hero.

Could you please reconcile these two statements for me? I am assuming there is some sarcasm in the latter? Or maybe his acting isn't what makes him your hero?

To be a talented actor, you have to have a range of emotions and to be able to access them at will. Mr. Penn's range is mostly anger and bad boy......and now idiot savante in Mr. Mike. Its been my experience that he is a self centered, bad tempered malcontent who has a difficult time keeping out of trouble. He comes from one of a number of lesser Hollywood clans..... his family talent is better suited for directing than acting, and even then its not notable.

He doesn't work much because he ain't that good and he's temperamental. Ten to one he got kicked out of the current film because he turned into a diva. The fact that he's forced into suing suggests his Hollywood days are pretty much done.

There are a lot of popular stars in Hollywood but not a lot of great actors......its a given fact when you live in LA.

And yes I was being sarcastic......Penn is not a hero of mine.

And let me also say...you can enjoy watching an actor without him or her having to be a great. Many consider Julia Roberts to be a so so actor but I really like seeing her in films. However, when compared to a Cate Blanchett, she's only a passable actress.
