What the US has undergone since Sept 11, 2001 merely replicates what France underwent during her ill-fated Algerian war (1954-1962). In short, you wanna get a clue to Al-Qaeda? Just grab any book, file, paper, report,... on OAS (ie Organisation Armée Secrète --Secret Military Organization)
