Hi jpg! Glad to know all is OK. Figured you were just busy.

Yep, I'm watching those three closely: MO, JNJ and VZ.

I see that JNJ just went below 50. I need to yell at Murrey.

They come down some more and I'll add to long term positions in each. Or, I may just sell more puts on them, too.

British Agency Claims New bin Laden Tape
Thu Feb 13, 3:10 PM ET

By JANE WARDELL, Associated Press Writer

LONDON - A voice purported to be that of Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) reads a poetic last will and testament on an audiotape, saying he wants to die a martyr in a new attack against the United States, an Islamic news agency that obtained the recording said Thursday.

The British-based Islamic Al-Ansaar news agency said on Thursday it bought the 53-minute tape over the weekend after discussions with an anonymous Internet seller.

Imran Khan, who runs Al-Ansaar, said he had conferred with experts who agreed the speaker on the tape was the al-Qaida leader bin Laden. There was no way to verify the claim.

The voice on the tape says that "before my end, I incite myself and my brothers ... In this final year I hurl myself and my steed with my soul at the enemy. Indeed on my demise I will become a martyr," Khan said.

"I pray my demise isn't on a coffin bearing green mantles. I wish my demise to be in the eagle's belly," the voice continued.

Khan said the "eagle" was believed to refer to the United States and the quote revealed bin Laden's wish to end his life in a final act of terrorism.

Khan, who has released previous tapes of bin Laden, told the Associated Press that the voice sounded weaker than on earlier recordings. Khan said he planned to publicly release the new tape shortly.

The Al-Jazeera Arab satellite station broadcast a different tape purportedly by bin Laden on Tuesday. On it, the speaker urges Iraqis to back Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) and carry out attacks against Americans. U.S. officials said they believed that voice was bin Laden's and that it showed his ties to the Iraqi government.

Russian President Vladimir Putin (news - web sites) said there was no evidence of an al-Qaida-Iraq link.

It cannot be proved that the al-Qaida leader is still alive, "and his relations with Baghdad cannot be proved, either," Putin told the French daily Le Telegramme in an interview published Thursday.

Khan told The Associated Press that he took three days to have contacts in Britain and the United States authenticate the tape al-Ansaar purchased, which he called "poetic," containing several verses from the Quran.

In Washington, U.S. counterterrorism officials were reviewing a transcript of the tape, but said they could not verify it was authentic. Officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said they could not be certain of the speaker's identity without reviewing the actual recording.

The voice on the tape also encourages followers to carry out attacks against Americans and Jews, saying "attacks on only 10 percent of the proposed targets would bring America crumbling down," according to Khan.

In May 2002, Al-Ansaar released a video of bin Laden which it claimed showed he had survived the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan (news - web sites). But Al-Jazeera said the tape was filmed before the war even began.
