Oh, well, I assumed you would be delighted at any opportunity to stop the war by providing a human shield. We won't bomb Westerners, you know. Saddam said so. Tell me something: That clown in Iraq has been dorking the US and the UN around for 12 years. Why should he have more time? And why should we assume a few hundred inspectors can find things he's had months and years to hide? In spite of evidence that says that is precisely what he intends to do? Why are you willing to listen to France and Germany? They have lots of economic ties with Iraq at stake. You think they're going to be objective about this matter? And they and Belgium seem to be the only objectors, so this "Europe is against us" crap appears to be just that. 16 out of 19 NATO nations voted to aid Turkey; those 3 were the only hold-outs. How is it that Europe disapproves if we got a 16 to 3 vote? You people sound like the "Let's give Hitler one more chance" crowd during the '30s. So they did. And got the Second World War out of it.
