War can be avoided very simply....Hussein could begin compliance tomorrow....he will not, ergo, he must be removed...

Indeed, true!

Perhaps we should ask those who post here in a fervor for war what alternatives they can think of, that would avoid the US committing force to what history will almost certainly deem as an unjust war.

Unfortunately, when all of the facts are on the table, this war smacks of ulterior motivation and in no way seems born from a principle of just cause.
