Looking for VIX over 50 soon. For me 40 might be a good level start covering just a little bit. This selloff is happening before lunch, usually a strong period of the day. This might be setting up for a major drop late day..and that is when I plan reduce my shorts by 50%. IMHO, negativity is going to get much more extreme before this market is turned around for a significant bounce..we shall see. If this had been October, I would have bet on a turn right here...but not in February.
