"...having a peace sign on the back of my helmet<g>"
.
Wayne,
.
I'am at a lost to mirror a similiar rebel'ism related to gold bugs,
as in attending one of those gold mining conference in Canada
and wear a t-shirt a Green Environment person whom was outside
the building with sign saying Mother Earth is Raped by Miners :o)
.
Actually there is truth on both sides of everything it seems,
as War is Hell absolutely, and absolutely NOT have all wars
been fought based on defense to protect the populace.
.
During my enlisted 13 month tour in Vietnam i never encountered
any talk on the righteous of the battles we did, and many times
almost everyone replied that they have no clue on how the United States
is threathen by the northern countries government overthrowing
the southern one that a puppet of the United States.
.
Imagine if during the American civil war between the north & south
another nation helped one side with superior military power.
.
Oops, i better quit now since i'am a highschool dropout and never
learned that history. The French fought against the north, yes?
.
Believe it or not, its true, i can not list the sides of World War I.
.
O well, i'am just a self defense person, and until attacked i will
present myself wearning a t-shirt with PEACE on it, but if one
walks up to me and tries to hit me, well, guess i would do my
imitation of you when you go on shore leave :o) aka kick @ss
.
(on topic, maybe) Iraq obtained a ton of physical gold over these
past 10-20-30 years, and most likely it is all still in-country,
so might it re-fill Fort Knox as war's bounty ?
