rydex used to be a contrarian indicator but now it is more like smart money though. The dumb money that used to be worth playing against is gone. So all you can gauge from that post is that the market is heavily, heavily short. I would agree with that based on the behavior of some stocks like amat. But what does it mean to me, I don't know. I certainly don't want to short in a climate like this, otoh I think we are heading down.
