What better way to get the Al-Qaeda network (or interested new recruits) to reveal ITSELF than by setting up a false front operation posting as Bin Laden himself?? Again.. I ain't saying it's so.. and highly unlikely.. but what great material for a spy novel... :0) And the Swiss, who tested the last tape "Bin Laden" sent in November, believe it was fake (but the US claims it's real).. The finding suggests that no one can say with certainty whether the November recording, or similar ones, are definitely the voice of bin Laden, as some US officials have claimed. You really think this administration's penchant for disinformation just suddenly went away after the ghastly Office of Strategic Influence was supposedly nixed? Any proclamation from a cabal that openly admits it wants to issue official lies must be regarded with suspicion. Hawk and I butt heads frequently, but in this case, I believe his line of thinking is closer to the truth than is yours.
