I think you are referring to France and Germany deciding to strike out on their own, outside of any influence by the US. They might, and possibly they should. However, it shouldn't deter us from doing the right thing in the case of Iraq. When it comes to our allies, things are out of control and I put the blame squarely on the Bush administration. Gee how fair of you. Whats next, if you get up in the morning and have to take a fart, will you also blame Gw for that. But GW had nothing to do with France and germany renigging on their NATO commitments. They are big boys, and made their own decisions, and should be able to justify it based on its merits, not cop out by blaming Gw. How mature is that? But then again, how many yrs has it been since anyone has accused them of being mature.
