Do you? Fired a shot...present tense...today, last year, last 10 years.

Iraq has done that as well.

Al, interesting poll done by AOL......not scientific by the way.

They asked the residents of Germany, France and Britain how they saw the US:

1. Arrogant Superpower

2. Well intentioned but too impatient

3. Champion of freedom

Surprisingly, a majority of residents of all three countries saw the US as an Arrogant Superpower.

Then they asked the same question of American AOL users. Roughly, 49% of American AOL users saw the US as the Champion of Freedom. The rest were divided between the other two choices.

I am afraid there is a huge gap in perceptions.

Al Re...Do you? Fired a shot...present tense...today, last year, last 10 years. People with good will know what the author is saying.

That statement as it is stated covers for as long as records are kept, according to how the author wrote it. And no, I don't think anyone can understand what he is saying, because even in present terms,I see Saddam firing a rifle in the air everyday on TV.

It's obvious to all but those intent on war that this can be solved peacefully.

Of course it can be resolved peacefully; however Saddam refuses to comply with the terms of 1441. Thats all it would take. Short of that, then please tell me how, and lets forward it to Powell. He must have been too stupid to figure it out.

It is bizarre that you believe it is incumbent on the United States to maintain the peace. Why do you not place this burden on Saddam Hussein?
