What happened? Was he trying to alert the public? Or
scare them? What happened?

Ridge followed Ashcroft at a press conference when they announce the increasing of the warning level. He actually mentioned the use of plastic sheeting and duct tape to seal windows and doors against chemical or biological attack.

The warning levels are mind boggling. If some told me "don't go into that building, it's going to blow up", that useful information. But this orange level of alert says "be careful....etc etc. something terrible is going to happen". Who the hell knows.

Imus was hilarious and Mike Barnicle was too. Sometimes humor is very close to the truth and takes the tension out of a serious situation for a while.

Take care, give little Margaret a squeeze. I take care of the windows in the NNBM Bar with the duct tape and plastic sheeting.
