This is turning into a very Orwellian discussion, with the pro-war side arguing their position, in a way that requires defining words to mean their exact opposite.

An offensive war is defined as a defensive war.
War is defined as "the road to peace"
War is Peace.
A U.S. General as dictator of Iraq (ruling through a local proxy, which fools almost noone), to teach them Democracy.
Occupation by a foreign army will "guarantee Iraqi sovereignity".
Freedom is slavery.
The best way to defend our Democracy is to set up secret military tribunals, empowered to execute U.S. citizens defined as "Enemy Combatants."
Ignorance is strength.

Welcome to the New World Order.

Nadine, according to that Foreign Policy Document I posted on Sunday the biggest trouble Turkey will have is how many of the expected 1.5 million refugees will be clogging up their toilets.

That document (Which sounded like the explanation Rumsfeld was giving to COngress today) calls on Allies and the UN th shoulder, finance and solve most of the problems in the post-Iraq-Conflict-Plan. (Everytime somebody in the Administration says the UN and Nato are irrelevant I think of the plans they have for them in the clean-up operations.)

We are almost getting to the point where we will all have to accept certain truths. One way or the other.
