Interesting ... offering 50% discount for upgrades from their own product? Maybe they're having trouble getting people to upgrade from their older version? Maybe the new version doesn't have all the bells and whistles? Maybe it's old architecture.

I know a company that can help with that. And, they're looking for acquisition candidates. And, they have a really spiffy new .NET product that will supposedly entice people to migrate to it.

Sounds like they're having a little cash flow problem. Joining forces with another firm might help.

Guess what ... they're *BOTH* located in Atlanta. How convenient !!

re: Microsoft kicks off

"We've tackled the puzzle by layering the [Microsoft] CRM on top of our Great Plains system, which means that all of the information is seamless and accessible -- now the issue is simply using it," Spitz said."

Hey ... isn't that the same concept that RTB was alluding to in the CC? They'd use FSTW's product as a "wrapper" for other CRM packages ... including Microsoft CRM?

If Microsoft CRM can do it to Great Plains, then the odds are they can do it with others. So, where does FSTW come in? Why would somebody want to wrap a wrapper?

Ouch. I get a headache when I analyze all this stuff.
