No, I don't find anything unusual about it. Just as in the United States the people at large are clueless; so, too, are they in foreign countries. Further, the leftist bias in Europe is much, much worse than it is here.

This is why you don't run countries based on polls. Polls lead to bad policy. As we know from the abject failure of the Clinton administration (did I mention that already?).

And you wonder why the GOP gets thrown out of office after 4 years.
