I have no idea what it portends, but it's interesting to see the shift of the shorts into total obstruction as a tactic to keep information and opinions from being disseminated about Research Frontiers.

Bill Wexler has sacrificed even the pretense of credibility by spamming the board with the laughable insistence that Ms. Dixon is a closet short (and by provoking responses from Ms. Dixon that are by definition off-topic). Soulard wants to talk about similar nonsensical falsehoods. Did Research Frontiers invent Inspectech? Did Bob Saxe deny making statements that he made? Of course not - but soulard keeps repeating the claims - and he turns aarrcc into a sucker every time aarrcc replies, because aarrcc ceases talking about the *real* Research Frontiers and starts talking about the *fantasy* Research Frontiers that soulard has invented.

And then there is the pure spam-bomb aspect of it all. The failed Amazon shorts stage a mass attack. The ralphla and marketwrap aliases continue the mainbeam tradition by repeatedly posting nonsense in an effort to obscure any sensible post that might crop up.

This activity intensified more than a year ago, but has reached a new level in the last few months - no short is any longer willing to even pretend to be honest.

What does it mean? I'm still pondering. Stay tuned ...
