It is wrong of you to impose that assumption on people who are on the other side of this debate. I consider death a positive outcome to a life worth living. In any event, I neither fear it nor do I dread its inevitability. I realize many people do, but this is a completely separate issue from the sanctity and preservation of life vs the decision to take it.

I don't think anyone here has actually said (unless I missed it) that they wanted to impose their view, more that they had qualms about the process, and the decision-- at least personally. And it's interesting to hear the reasoning behind their positions, whether religious or philosophical or practical.
(Not that many on SI wouldn't impose their views, but I stay away from those kinds of non-discussions.)
