That article made alot of sense. THe truth will come out after Iraq has been taken. IF stories start to surface about oil reserves being filtered off, etc then Bush will be in very hot water. There ae people who will remove him from office..............many, including Republicans won't be able to back him if the intent becomes obviously that of oil grabbing. I also heard a report from someone who works for the NY Times who claimed that Bush has done a very poor job of articulating good reasons for invading Iraq. People think he has to have some underlying reasons like an oil grab because his publicly declared reasons have been quite unimpressive and unsubstantiated. I heard today that Bush's approval ratings are slipping quickly now................down to 54% and the number of people who are hesitant about going to war soon is around 80%. Bush said today that the transition from a dictator to a democracy will go quickly for Iraq. Colin Powell said it will take a very long time. Most experts that I have heard remark on the issue all say it will most likely be a lengthy transition. The first two leaders will be Americans so I can forsee plenty of trouble coming. Americans are so different from Arabs and there is no way an AMerican can rule a country like that...........................especially after what is going to happen there. Maybe they are planning to destroy the entire infrastructure to the point that people will be ]begging in the streets for food and water. That way they can be controlled....................until their anger gets unleashed after their human pride has been dismantled.
