"You were speaking of the assumption that the soul chose the body,...

No, I have no indication that there is a choice made by the soul to be associated with a fleshly creature? When did I say this. I thought I said that we didn't choose...from all indications...but that we don't know for sure.

"But then, it's wrong for others to kill the body, too. Makes no rational sense to say it's wrong for me to make the decision to kill myself, but if I make a different decision which leads society to kill me, that's okay."

The rational sense I gave is that, as a society others may have decided to kill a person based on some justification (justice measure) of harm that person inflicted that was irreconcilable for society. And so the soul passes on. You may disagree that such things are justifiable but that is the rational used for others killing a person via the justice system.

My point was that the same rationale is not used (just killing, for a harm being perpetrated by a creature that is irreconcilable) in the case of suicide. I actually see how that could be argued, but no one has. And, I would try to argue against it.

That was my point.
