Why did I know you would post this? When you don't like the facts, you attack the author. Kelly documented what he said very carefully. Here's an excerpt. Read the rest at the URL. I don't like irresponsible journalism, Bill. And Kelly embodies it right here. He's an opinion writer, an op ed guy. Writes well, even inflammatory stuff. So, ok. But to use one report is not good journalism. It needs confirmation from several sources; it needs to be placed in context both of the times and of the whole of the man's life. The latter because Kelly wishes to use the one incidence to paint his life, in its entirety. But that's not the way folk like Kelly work when they wish to discredit someone. Moreover, it's irrelevant. Germany's position in this should be evaluated on its own terms.
