When it gets hot, they give it to us. Before it gets hot they want to appease. And it happens over and over again. For instance lets say blix says iraq is cooperating and bush decides not to attack. A few years from now saddam is threatening neighbors with nukes. Europe feels threatened. Who do they call? Ghostbusters, NOT. They call Uncle. And that is why americans are so conflicted between internationalist and isolationist impulses. Mike
