The French have a lot to lose if we go to war. Some have suggested it's ties to Iraq that bind them from supporting a pre-emptive war In fact they have been doing battle with terrorists for years, a war would exacerbate this problem exponentially. And no they don't deserve that kind of trouble. We didn't, no one does. Why won't Bush et al stop acting so childishly, this isn't getting them anywhere right now.

And it's hard to swallow we have to destroy Iraq on the one hand because they are supporting terrorists and on the other hand because they violated some resolution or on every other Friday because Bush Jr. wants to do what his father failed to accomplish. At best, the reasons to throw this country into war and thousands of our country's best and bravest into body bags are murky, at worst...well.
