The UN works as well as any Rube Goldberg device. That's all it is and all it was set up to be. The US never intended to surrender its sovereignty to it, nor should it. Voluntarily surrender to the likes of Khaddafi, Jiang, and Saddam? You're nuts. They can have the US when they can take it by force. And to quote Mr. Lincoln in a different matter,

" All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years."

Perhaps if the US better behaved in the UN
Define "better"? Agree that Libya should head the human rights commission?
You're nuts.
