Subleties sometimes escape me on the Internet, where one cannot sense non-verbal cues. Re the DJIA potential low, I personally don't think the future is written in advance. I use a Demographic Profile to gauge the underlying buy/sell pressure on a single and multi-year basis, but believe that the majority of what will determine the future course of the stock indices hasnt happened yet. If the Bush Administration uses scare tactics to hype the danger of terrorism and bring up the pro-War sentiment in the U.S. that's one thing, but if there are actual potent reprisals against this country and it's business interests that's something else. Having experienced the Vietnam era protest environment, I'm watching the huge anti-war rallies in Europe with interest, and wondering what next steps will occur after we actually invade Iraq.
