Just my observation of one of my mostly respected market gurus: Is it possible that Sliders' market perceptiveness has been somewhat blind sided by his arrogance and imperal attitude towards others (other countries in this case). He SEES the inevitability of US winning this War and conquers the world, which is in contradiction with gold get out of control as it symbols loss of current administration's control over economy and the imperial status in the world stage. There, end of my rumbling.
