Diplomcy to me is dialogue as you describe. It is attempting to understand the other persons point of view and arguments. Then negotiating or mediating so that there is a common ground and this requires both sides giving to reach a PEACEFUL SOLUTION. Why is it that "SOME" of you who post on this site are so knowledgeable along with traits such as tolerance, understanding and compassion. Also the need to NOT ALWAYS BE RIGHT and not have a ego that needs to prove something. Why aren't you guys PRESIDENTS instead of the A HOLES we get (excepted J.Carter possibly J Kennedy although Bobby might have exceeded him ) I THINK IT IS MONEY... and the ability to placate anyone who gives sufficiently through rewards...Now, what can they be ? What is the pay off for this war. It has been aptly described. If any of us thinks it is to stop terrorism in my opinion it will only provoke the entire MUSLIM world to rile against us in any way they can.
