He did criticize Bush's signing of the Farm bill (corporate welfare for agri-business).

And there was that horrible education bill.

But it is a fact that I've not criticized Bush's foreign policy; under the circumstances -- some of the most difficult faced by a president in American history -- I can't envision any president would have performed better.

We can never know how a Reagan or Teddy Roosevelt would have handled a situation like this; I seriously doubt either would have been materially better.

At this point and in my view, the people who are criticizing Bush's handling of these crises either (a) would never support Bush's actions, no matter what, or (b) don't comprehend the issues. In some cases, both (a) and (b) apply...
