Clinton Corrals Sports Illustrated Cover Girl

Apparently the ex-Ogler-in-Chief is still trading on his celebrity status to corral the ladies, just like the good old days back home in Arkansas. Just ask Yamila Diaz-Rahl, whose semi-clothed physique graces the cover of this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

It seems Ms. Diaz-Rahl found herself in the same room with Mr. Clinton at a trendy Los Angeles restaurant earlier this week, where she was "given to understand an introduction was in order," according to the New York Post's Page Six.

"So Yamila was duly brought over to meet the ex-prez," the paper added.

The episode brings to mind an exchange years back between Clinton and his one-time paramour-business partner, Susan McDougal, who recalled the then-governor once confiding to her, "This is fun. Women are throwing themselves at me."

Of course, most of the women who were "throwing themselves" at Clinton were encouraged to do so by heavily armed Arkansas state troopers, who have long since left Clinton's side.

Which begs the question: Who's doing the persuading these days when it comes to having young lovelies like Ms. Diaz-Rahl "duly brought over" to comply with what she's "given to understand" is "in order"?
