I almost thought he was going to take a shoe off and pound the table with it! :>) I think if he took off his shoe, he might have pounded both the French and the German foreign ministers <g>. I think the answer to Bush's question of last Sep. 12th (will the UN be relevant) has been answered. The US could still decide not to go to war....but the UN has failed to take the opportunity that was handed to it. Countries around the world would have sat up and taken notice that the UN was no longer afraid to act. Slacker
