No doubt that oil is a major factor but its too simple to believe that its all about that. If you or anyone else can say its all about oil (and many are saying just that) I contend on contrarian basis alone that you are probably wrong. See, when the government gets us to focus on one thing (in this case our greedy desire for oil) its very likely that the issue is not that at all. When we impeached Clinton for sex I contend it took the focus off REAL EVENTS such as the transfer of ballistic missile technology to China. As it turns out we spent so much time talking about Clintons pecker that we overlooked other issues such as the above and now - N. Korea.

The point here is that the obvious is many times used to divert attention from reality.
