Interesting. I just recall the stuff about Dec. 31st being up for like 30-straight years, until Dec. 31, 2001.

I'm in puts now, so odds favor I'd like to see a red close <G>

Regarding close on day before President's day, it looks like today is the exception that proves the rule. Cheers!

Well, at least we broke the President's Day string of negative closes. That was due, since we broke the string of positive closes on Dec. 31 in 2001.

That's why I don't read too much into those historic patterns. This is a once in 72-year bear, and it has its own ideas <G>.
