Yes, I know about that book (no, I did not buy it) and that it stirred up some interest. Not sure how it compares to books on other conspiracy theories that spike curiosity and get books sold.

It does not mean, of course, that most French people believe the theory outlined (whatever it is), not even the ones who read it.

c2--thanks for the find .....I wonder how the person who wrote the article and the one who wrote the book can live with themselves. How very outrageous!!! Obviously,, the person who wrote the book has not one single clue about how anything works in the US, nor of its history. And most probably she/he/it doesn't give a d*mn about any of the several hundred people who were not citizens of the US either......

If anyone in the world reads that, and is stupid enough to believe that story to be true, then maybe the bile and gall in their being will eventually cause them a good deal of harm. To which I would say....good riddance.
