I think your point about Orwellian language is correct. "Islamofacist" is a terrible neologism aimed at demonizing the enemy. It serves to stop thought. I have the the same problem with the "War on Terror" (and it's earlier form "War on Drugs"). There is much about the public relations effort behind the war on Iraq that I don't like as I posted earlier today (WMD and AQ, for example). I also find the idea that people who argue against the war are unAmerican offensive.

Of course, your earnest but Orwellian use of Orwell and your pre-emptive use of Godwin's law is ironic.
