He couldn' wait 24 hrs until after Blix's Un speech to vote in the Nato context, he decided to dump France and Belgium and go with the US, and Rummy's position without even asking them how they felt. Now that is desperation. If you think he's saying uncle, you need to get a transcript of his speech to the bundestag. This breach in our alliance is only news to us.
