If this plays out like Japan the gov't will reinflate but once they start to rein it in and raise rates the deflation starts again.

While many say we are not Japan there are some similarities (like the naz to the nikkei) and we have problems they didn't have (like huge deficits (trade, gov't, consumer) although their gov't is now playing catchup
