Dang, that handset is huge!

The handset is supposed to be roughly the size of the Sanyo 4900.....which I think it generally smaller than the Nextel candybar shaped handsets.

Nice picture, but where are the specs, and will PCS offer Nationwide PTT? If not they're just seeding the market for churn to Nextel.

As usual, the details are missing.

One step at a time....ten minutes ago, you could have said the handsets were missing. They'll probably release the details after they finish internal testing of these handsets/system.

The real question is what the real life latency times are going to be....lab times of 2-3 seconds are nice, but can they reproduce it on a loaded network?

I have no idea if it will be Nationwide PTT. Again, I dont think anybody actually believes that PCS or VZ are going to match Nextel's system....but if they get close enough to be satisfactory, the current premium that people are paying for Nextel's service will decline. It's also a nice way for them to differentiate themselves from the GSM carriers. None of them seem to be very far along with PTT services.
