Well, the Doc told me to expect what is happening....BUT I thought I was tougher than that. That I could beat the "situation". Plus I hadn't realized that when I said 15 years ago, I could walk without crutches after 3 days ---that yes, it was 15 more years, so surely the technology is even better. It is. It's just that they would have done this the "old way" before, and it would have taken months to get back together. So it was my expectations that were 'off kilter' a bit. BUT I am certainly glad that they could do this much with just '3 holes' instead of the old way. Didn't realize that I liked to be master of my own destiny every single minute ....including taking a drive if I felt like it. You MUST have felt the same way for some time too....
