What I meant is that the US has put itself in a weakened position in front of the nations of the world. Of course I don't think the UN is our leader............we thought of ourselves as the leader of the free world but we now have undermined that position by trying to force a war that is not yet warranted ( according to many in the UN). Bush appears to have walked himself out on a plank and closed off his exit paths other than to jump off into the deep end.
