It looks like every situation is so different. I didn't know what the meniscus was either...it's the sorta hard but flexible cartilege pad between the two leg bones....

I have a friend who has had 2 knee replacements (1 ea knee)...the one done several years ago still is a pain (literally) and the one she had done this last summer took about 12 weeks and some therapy to get through, but she's MUCH better now...

So we shall see. Tell Sue NOW I can certainly understand the pain....guess we all have to experience something before we "really" 'git' it.....

Saw that DC is gong to have another big snow storm....how are you fixed for snow?
