Like we haven't had Special Forces in place for months, in country, ready to control those fields? Poor guys living off eating snakes and you don't give them a big howdy? I'm going back to Afghanistan, we had boots on the ground months before we had permission to send them in there. Last Gulf war Special Forces were in country long before the first plane flew. That's where the lasers for the JDAMS came from.
