I received a cell phone call earlier saying that "something was going on" at Grand Central Station.

It turned out that it was a fire under the tracks, and not at GCS (E. 42nd), but at Penn Station (W. 33rd). There were four helicopters overhead and more cops and National Guardsmen than you could shake the proverbial stick at.

Understandably, of course, we're all a bit on edge in the Big City these days.
