Most muslims do not understand the difference we tend to make between normal muslims and radical muslims. The ones in this country had better learn and understand it, and articulate their total rejection of it. If they don't, they are going to get tarred with the same brush. If we get any more attacks here, and this is not done, the rejection you are feeling is going to get much worse. "A moderate muslim is one who publicly rejects the radical viewpoint." That definition is going to get more and more important, IMO. You see, the most Americans do not understand the differences we use here between moderate and radical either.

If muslims do not understand the difference between violent radicals, the Sept.11 type and what we non muslims consider normal muslims or moderate then they and we are in for a lot of troubles. I'd do what Catholics did when there was criminals in their midst and haul their violent A**es off to court or jail because they are criminals.
