Larry, I cannot fathom NK motives for anything they have done for the last 50 years. They are not a communist country. Instead they are a military dictatorship with delusions of grandeur. They have some small powers regionally and have been making veiled threats...probably to get food aid and oil aid from the USA. They are sufficiently irrational that if they are able to do a thing, they might just do it, all the way up to sending a nuke to Japan, USA etc. Bill
