Or the probing cyber attack that the world internet suffered two weeks ago. I lost connectivity for almost twelve hours. Servers using windows were smoked for that time. Some have linux and were not hit but the effects were the same. Just a probing attack testing circuits that multiplied itself exponentially every 8.5 minutes globally. Over and over till traffic collapsed. Echoes of the affect lasted into networks for days. I know many who are making an extra mortgage payment with the overtime the repair took. The war is on. It has been loosed. Believe it or not we are only observers so far. That was just a shot across the bow.
